Walking the Wicklow Way

Lus Mór, situated in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains National Park, is the ideal base for walking The Wicklow Way, with its breathtaking peaks, valleys and lake views.

Take short strolls by sea or river, through forests and over hills and mountains, along coach roads, bog roads and nature trails, and mountains paths used by medieval monks.

Along the route, you will find deserted settlements, forts, and a variety of flora and fauna, including birds, badgers and deer.

The Wicklow Way includes low-level terrain for the casual walker as well as challenging mountain trails.

The location was right next to the Wicklow way, a short hike from a beautiful lake and mountain scenery.

We are happy to provide you with advice on walking/hiking routes in the area on request.
